Packaging

Make the prototype, the pitch and the sale

Eye catching packaging is what makes one product stand out from all the others on the shelves in the supermarket, cosmetic store and everywhere else. It is the visual identity that makes an impact and choosing just the right design is key.

Thanks to Roland DG’s inkjet technology, packaging companies can bring the proofing process in-house and make their pitch showing a realistic proof with great colours and stunning effects.

Reduce your production time, increase your profits

Samples and prototypes are an essential part of your business, and traditional methods can take considerable production time and resources. And after this costly investment they can often result in a ‘representative’ sample rather than an accurate prototype.

Expenses can mount with offset printing for colour proofs and small-lot production. With a separate printing plate dedicated to each colour, corrections are costly – and recovery of these costs can be difficult. Roland DG UV printer/cutters do not require any printing plates or separate die-cutting equipment. As a result, production costs and times are minimised.

An in-house prototyping, packaging and proofing solution

With Roland DG’s range of digital technology, you can bring your prototyping production in house, meaning you are able to quickly produce tangible prototypes to test ergonomics, fit, form, function and pattern-making, with the obvious benefits of eliminating the delays, expense and communication difficulties associated with outsourcing - all of which makes perfect business sense.
